Lisa
holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science (2002) from
Winthrop University and an MPA degree (2004) from Appalachian State
University. Currently, Lisa is a Ph.D. candidate at the University
of South Carolina with interests in public administration, public
policy and public opinion research. Prior to working at the
Institute, Lisa held internships in local government administration
and she served as Congressional Intern for United States
Representative John M. Spratt Jr. She also held a position with the
Appalachian Regional Development Institute in Boone, NC where she
maintained and managed sample, supervised the data collection
process and aided in the analysis of survey data for organizations
including the United States Department of Energy. Lisa joined the
survey research staff at the Institute for Public Service and Policy
Research in 2004. Her primary responsibilities at the Institute
include processing data and aiding in the analysis of survey data. |
