Amanda
earned a Bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and a Master of
Public Health degree from Emory University. Her primary
responsibilities at the Institute for Public Service and Policy
Research include research and writing, specifically on health policy
issues, as well as providing support on technical assistance
projects for state and local government. Prior to joining the
Institute, Amanda worked with Emory University and the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention to develop and improve program
evaluations. She has also worked in South Carolina state
government, and provided evaluation expertise locally in South
Carolina on a Department of Education grant. Her research interests
focus on public health policy.
